How do I install Illuminate?

Install RedLoader (RedManager can do it for you), download Illuminate 1.0.3 from this page and put it in the _RedLoader/Mods folder inside your game directory. Launch the game and press F1 to confirm it loaded.

What does Illuminate need?

Only Sons of the Forest on Steam and RedLoader. It has no other dependencies.

FEATURES

Change the rendering distance of various lights (light bulbs, torches, spotlights).
Change the intensity of various lights (lighter, flashlight, lightbulbs, torches, spotlights)
Change the color of lights (lighter, flashlight, torches)
Change the color of each individual light bulb (gets saved into your save game)

LIGHT BULB COLOR

To change the color of the light bulbs go into the settings of the mod, scroll to the bottom and under ColorSwatch add the color strings of the colors you want to cycle through (You can use the google color picker for example to copy the strings https://g.co/kgs/BfM2vm). Then go up to a light bulb, switch it on and cycle through the colors using your mouse wheel.

Changing the individual color of a lightbulb does not work. I'm staring straight at a lit bulb on my house boat and the mousewheel does absolutely nothing
